Be a Black Shuck Festival Shucketeer!

Would you like to help put together this year’s Black Shuck Festival?

We have so much happening in so many places - often at the same time - that we need a lots of help making it all happen.

This is what you could get involved with:

Before the Festival

• help making (and repairing) costumes and props (a few months/weeks before)
• delivering leaflets (a couple of weeks before)
• sign-making (a week or so before)
• moving props and equipment (a day or so before)

During the Festival

• moving chairs and tables before events start
• stewarding the outdoor events
• ushering the indoor events
• helping manage some of the outdoor activities
• helping collect donations at our outdoor events
• helping steward the car parks at out outdoor events
• returning chairs and tables after the events
• litter picking after the events
• artist liaison - ensuring performers know where to go and have what they need

There will be full briefings before each event and an overall briefing before the Festival. And all Shucketeers will be given a high-viz jacket in fetching red and a lanyard!
